Scott Tenney

Scott Tenney
Scott Tenney is an experienced leader with a background in energy systems, environmental management, and sustainable land development. Over the course of his career, he has guided complex projects integrating regulatory compliance, financial oversight, and resource stewardship. His work includes the transformation of degraded landscapes into regenerative systems and the creation of programs that strengthen community resilience. Scott brings a systems-level perspective to Ethical Horizons, emphasizing the responsible alignment of technology, environment, and society.

Stephen Asztalos

Stephen Asztalos
Stephen Asztalos is a physicist and counselor whose career bridges science, education, and mental health. After earning his PhD in nuclear physics, he transitioned from research to counseling to better address the human dimensions of stress, purpose, and resilience — challenges he first witnessed among his students. Stephen now provides clinical and career counseling, helping others navigate change with empathy and clarity. He embodies Ethical Horizons’ commitment to uniting analytical insight with human understanding.

Christopher J. Struck is an engineer and consultant specializing in technology strategy, audio design, and applied acoustics. His career spans more than two decades of innovation in measurement systems, transducer development, and sound perception. Christopher has contributed to advances that improve how technology interacts with people, and he brings a pragmatic engineering perspective to the ethical implications of technological progress.

Joel Johnson

Joel P. Johnson
Joel P. Johnson is a seasoned project manager with more than 25 years of experience in design, manufacturing, IT, and consulting. He has led major initiatives across sectors, including a $4 million project at United Nations headquarters in New York City and multiple large-scale technology and product-development efforts. Joel has overseen multimillion-dollar product lines, directed global marketing and engineering teams, and managed the development and introduction of complex new products for worldwide markets. His background also includes extensive work implementing supply-chain planning systems, developing prototype production-planning software, and delivering hands-on consulting for organizations undergoing technical transformation. Joel holds a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and has additional experience as a sound engineer, band leader, and arts-event producer.

His background in environmental engineering includes work on the beneficial reuse of energy sector industrial byproducts. He has contributed to advancing sustainable practices and supporting institutions dedicated to environmental education and preservation. His work reflects a commitment to ecological responsibility, thoughtful resource management, and the role of civic institutions in fostering resiliency.
